got stopped this afternoon for speedin doing 54mph in a 30mph zone on plymyard ave bromborough end so watch out there in force today on the <img border="0" alt="[cwplod]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions032.gif" /> bikes
fixed penelty £60 and 3 points on my licence
just be carfull when ya out an about

But at least that's all you got, they can take your licence off you for doing more than 20 over the limit.

gutted tony. i got my first pull the other day but the nice :cwplod:man let me off(thank god). they where tellin me that 20mph over is 6 points jimbo, so if ur aint passed ur test more than 2 years ago that is a ban!!

isnt it double the speed limit an they take ur lisence off u?

Plod at the side of the road has limited powers.

Its the courts that take things off yu...
And of-course DVLA if you have got the highscore of +12 points.

So as far as i know its up to the officer attending that decides if it can be sorted there and then, fine + Points...
Or should be dealt with in court.

Dont forget diffrent Police Forces enforce
there strong arm diffrently.
So what might be lucky on the wirral,
may see a heavy fine in wales ??

i was told that if i wanted it to goto court i could be facing a £1000 fine so i bit me tongue an took the fine & points

Dunno, I just heard of someone who got their license taken off them for doing 20 over the limit

Touch wood I've never been stopped for speedin... but I have for a "routine check" (Some mates from college tipped them off saying I was a drug lord or summat, LOL), doing donuts in my mates field (my mate just told the <img border="0" alt="[cwplod]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions032.gif" /> to sod off!), and also for givin people lifts through Abersoch on the sidesteps of the Jeep! ha ha, that was a funny one!

Each time has been in Wales so dunno if it's the coppers or the smell of sheep that's the problem. Could be the fact I'm English though

I think it goes something like this 30mph over any limit is an instant ban, between 0-20 over is 3 points and between 20-30 is 6 points so for new drivers under 21 that would be an instant ban..... BUT this all depends on what sort of a day the copper in question is having

Alright ppl, the other week i got a £30 fine coz my front wheel was on the double yellow lines , so i applead, lol and they increased it to £60, checky hey,
