Wow just stumbled across an 8 year old thread i started on here while searching Google for other VW related articles... anyway this was my old MK2 thread from a few years ago: MK2 Golf 20v Turbo 342bhp Since then owned a Corrado, MK4 Golf, Audi A4 and stepped away from the VW world for a few years, however remebered my roots and decided to jump back in the saddle. Idealy wanted a MK1 Golf again as i've always regretted selling my very 1st but prices are high for bad examples! eventually stubmled across a very early MK2 Golf Gti 1984 B reg with only 72k miles and Alpine White, this came off the road October 2010 for a full restoration. Ill continue this thread from today but heres the last year from another forum. MK2 Golf Alpine White Next is a Miltex 4 branch getting fitted next weekend to the custom system.

Where you been for 6 years man?  That golf looked sweet, welcome back, you gonna stick around? We need more peeps doing their cars up on here as theres only a few of us that bother these days.

Where you been for 6 years man? That golf looked sweet, welcome back, you gonna stick around? We need more peeps doing their cars up on here as theres only a few of us that bother these days. Guess its money these days, i still now a fair few people working on some pretty special cars but it all takes longer now! I've just started a VW Caddy stripped to a bare shell in my garage for welding dont expect this will be ready till 2013!
