Hi all,

Has anyone had problems with their VirginMedia Broadband connection this morning and over the Easter weekend? I live in CH63 and cannot connect? I have checked all the usual stuff.

Yep am having trouble too , I'm on 100mb and i can confirm theres work in the area and they are working to fix it.

The best part is....wait for it...

Work will be finished on the 6th of september.

if you log in to virgin media you can check the service status by using your post code, you can see the fault there.

Oh an btw i phoned up to complain saying why should i be paying for 100mb when I'm getting 1mb , after a bit of moaning they said until the work is completed i won't be charged for the service. Worth mentioning if anyone is it totally dissatisfied.

Thanks for the info, WOW a 3 month fix deadline, lets hope it doesnt take that long, i just cant get used to the 56k modem feel of it all again, i thought i left that behind years ago, infact my speeds are actually slower than a 56k modem, ive got my son on his xbox gaming with his laptop on watching youtube vids and my daugter on skype with her friends, i think they have left me 1k to use for myself..
