The Hash House Harriers is a non- profit making social, non-competitive running club.
There are clubs in most major cities around the world, with around 2000 clubs in 140 countries.
Year round many clubs have 'events' to celebrate landmarks for that club or the area, International events such as the 14th World Interhash UK 2004 held in Cardiff with 98 counties represented.
(Taken from Wirral Globe, however both the charity and the running club are very close to my heart).
