Does any think a punto could manage to carry a complete car engine back from Telford

all day, stuck a 2.0l in a fizzbom donkys ago.

I have put new rear springs on it, so i was thinking it may do.
am not so sure, would the back end not go right down and drag

It should be fine if you get the engine as far forward as you can in the boot.

If you get stuck give me a shout, it'll go in the back of one of the Pajeros quite easily (as long as you can lift it that high), failing that I've got a Tow-A-Van box trailer you could borrow if you have a towbar.

Make sure the engine in "dry", oil adds to the weight and makes a mess when it falls over

Easy. The motor will weigh less than 2 average adult, and you wouldnt worry if you had them in the back

Failing that, check out one of the firms like PalletLine, last engine/gearbox I sent to London cost me about £55, might be worth it with fuel costs.

have you tried neptune we had a gear box off them for a punto today they might have the engine too

Easily, I drove a clio engine bak in a clio from Cardiff no problems at all

done a redtop lump in the back of a metro once lol (dont ask hahah )
so id say your ok mate
