I'm quite legitimate in that everyone here knows that phones/computers is my business.
This guy came to work for me, he'd had a shop previously so it was on the understanding that he didnt just work for me, find out all the details of suppliers etc and then set up on his own.
He started doing his own deals with other members of the Polish community, I had no great problem with that, then we noticed "scrap" laptops seem to vanishing from our recycled store, which strangely he'd moved around to (he though) accidentally cover all the camera's.
He was sacked when we found him taking a customers laptop home in his bag.
He's now set up in New Ferry (just a few door down from our much bigger place opening soon ) and is claiming that he didn't understand his contract not to set up his own place within 5miles, nor it seems does he understand the court order he was served with (the bailiff seemed to think he understood it well enough) to desist.
He actually tried to claim unfair dismissal (he failed to mention in his claim the item he tried to steal) as he said he was being forced to work Saturdays ( which he never did) when he has to look after his son on a Saturday whilst his partner works at a care home. Despite him claiming for them, his partner and child are both in Poland, must make looking after him hard.
