Firefighers are dealing with a fire at the Heritage Market in Kirkdale.

Fire crews are on site tackling a blaze, which started in the ground floor of a seven storey building on the premises.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called out at 8.10pm to the building at Stanley Dock. The fire was well underway by the time crews arrived and firefighters are working to stop it spreading.

Eight fire appliances and an aerial appliance have been deployed to the site.

I guess we should have expected it, particularly now that the plans have been passed.
Oh wait, didn't someone else say that on here a few weeks ago?

Strange, the heritage market is at another location now so why have they called this building by that name.

Standard redevelopment tactic especially for P**l, known
in our trade as stealth land acquisition. They pull all sorts of stunts to keep the costs down and swerve legal issues.

I worked on a property in Sefton park where an arboricultural / ecological survey was undertaken. Whilst the arboricultural came back fine the ecological survey showed a species of bat roosting (forget which kind but they were protected) meaning all works should have come to a halt, lets just say Greedy / shady developers have ways and means of getting around these things

You'd be suprised at some of the tactics the big companies employ, shocking in this day and age
