Luxemburgo never made the short-list then

I persoally like the idea of Stuart Pearce.
He has the knowledge of the younger players that are coming through
the youth stages and the young players are what we will need if we are ever going to win anything major.

England will never win anything, since about 2000ish there has been too many egotistical pricks who are interested only in playing, and making a name for themselves, to increase their financial demands and celebrity status. There is no team spirit, there is no desire to be a part of and play as a part of a team. Additionally, the FA have revelled in just about any controversy they have walked into.

I am still gob smacked that Capello was allowed to remain as manager, despite his obvious involvement in the Calciopoli farce. But then, it managed to grab the headlines for the FA, and that is what they were looking for.

I'm going to throw Gary Lineker into the mix I think.

Mmmmm not convinced Wench. I think he has a nice little earner with his TV career which he problably wouldn't be able to continue with - I bet the money is beeter in TV as well
