WBC tried to sting me with a parking fine after I sold the car. I didn't park illegally.
I showed them the V5 of Sale
and receipt, they still said I had to pay. I said they had to provide photographic evidence of the car parked illegally. They didn't provide evidence, and then passed it onto a collection agency.
I sent them a letter asking for evidence and they said it was too late for an appeal, so I had no choice but to ignore it as they weren't listening and said I go to court to contest it when they were ready to do so.
A bailiff called round at my mum's address (where the car was registered) and my terrified mum believed the bailiff's claims he could come into the house and take the property (none of which belonged to me and I didn't live in the house) and paid the £380 fine there and then.
I would like to take this further as a) I didn't park illegally as I didn't have the car on the date, b) I shouldn't have to pay a fine for something I didn't do.
All of WBC are c*nts.
