Is it difficult for a Part 2 mechanic to get work on the Wirral?

Thanks for the replies. A young man I was speaking to today used the expression 'Part 2' and I guess he meant 'Level 2'. He said he had done three years apprenticeship and two years as a mechanic and was looking for work. So, in my ignorance of such things, I thought I would ask those who know about such things.

I would recommend he get his level 3 qualification as that would make it a lot easier.

Just a thought, why not try a little more specialist like Automotive Electronics. Mechanics are widespread, but not everyone can do the electronics side. They do all sorts in Wirral Met, G/NVQ/C&G training.
