WIRRAL Schools Big Band is in concert this weekend to raise funds for Stick 'n' Step, a charity helping children with cerebral palsy.
The concert, at Oldershaw Academy in Valkyrie Road, Wallasey, takes place on Saturday, January 21, at 7.30pm.
It is the first in a series of events planned for Stick 'n' Step's 10th anniversary Sparkle Appeal.
Other events on the calendar include wine tasting, a summer ball, and open day at the organisation's premises in Croxteth Ave, Wallasey.
Fundraiser Kerry Roe-Ely said: "We plan to make this a dazzling year in many ways.
"We encourage others to host their own Sparkle events and can help with ideas and in other ways if they contact us."
Tickets for Saturday night's concert are £5 and available from 0151 638 0888.
