Watching a programme on bbc2 called stargazing and its made me buy a telescope on a tripod for 30quid and its a pretty good one aswell. I can't wait to get it.

did anybody else watch it?

last time i did any proper stargazing was in Australia, had some really clear nights and looked at venus and also seen some shooting stars away from the telescope. The environment was perfect no lights and the neighbours was about a mile away down the road so was peaceful

I've watched all of them. I love Prof Cox *swoon* A telescope has been on my "want list" for a few years now.
