The ECB today announced England’s practice matches ahead of their Test, one-day and Twenty20 series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, beginning next month.
England’s Test squad will play two three-day games against an ICC Combined Associate and Affiliate XI, led by Ireland captain William Porterfield, and a PCB XI before the first Test against Pakistan which starts on January 17.
The one-day squad will then take on an England Lions side in Abu Dhabi on February 10 ahead of their first ODI against Pakistan – at the same venue – three days later.
The ECB also announced that it had agreed with Pakistan Cricket Board that the enhanced Decision Review System will be used in all Test and one-day matches played between the two countries in the UAE.
