i raced that at the lights, didnt know it was a 2.8 cos i've only got 1.1.

Yep that was I smile

They did these in 2 door for the german and US market..
This jetta was a 4 door,but the side where cut out and Genuine VW,2 door 1/4's where fitted. And 2 door front doors.
Unique in the UK.

Who built it originaly??

Where abouts are you based?

I have a few myself
MK2 20v turbo 330bhp
RARE MK2 wide arch polo coupe built for Rally cross in Germany
MK1 Shell still waiting for insperation!!

Was built in the St.Helens area by a chap called steve, and featured in '98.
Then was Vr'd and caged in '02
And smoothed/painted/rimmed by me in '04

Im in b/head town centre mate.
