I can only afford 1 and need help deciding.

I have always loved COD since COD4 and used to love BF2 on the PC.

I am currently leaning towards BF3 as I have read quite alot of owners reviews of COD saying it is more of the same and is a map pack rather than a full game. BF3 looks really refreshing.

comments welcome for people who have played both. Will be looking at 360 version

BF3 is nothing like BF2. It's like a really bad cross between MOH and CoD: Shitops.

I went for MW3 myself - because I enjoyed mw2 and played it for months - and loved the mw3 campaign which finishes the MW story and spec ops/survival and enjoying the difference in multiplayer (most the weapons are new, the maps are all new, the perks and the killstreaks .. basically everything is new, but it looks the same).

I'd suggest downloading BF3 and trying it. I was like an hour into the campaign before I deleted it, shit was awful. People say you can't rate a game based on the singleplayer, but I've never enjoyed a multiplayer game that had a bad singleplayer. If it looks nad feels bad it generally is.

Sorry to confuse matters or you. But I would go with bf3

Single player I a bit short but it varied

Multiplayer is great Especialy when the squad you are in works together

The battlefield series has always been about multiplayer for me so a single player campaign is an added bonus

I have mw3 and to me and as most players say. It's more of a yearly update not a new game

As ex0 states. If you can dl a copy of single player give it a go. But online is where the fun starts. Especialy when you can go through battlelog and see stats of friends etc

So Deffo battlefield for my recommendation mate

Also if you getting for pc at least you can play 64 player conquest which is great

We have both in the house on the 360 BF3 is mine never been into the cod series, Sisters partner has MW3 after 2 hrs in his opinion BF3 looked/played a lot better and he's a die hard COD fan, BF2 was awesome BF3 requires you to to be more tactical than BF2, You can see the massive changes in the graphics on BF3, MW3 looks pretty similar i think no idea what single player is like never play it on any game always online. Buy BF3 you won't be disappointed if you liked BF2.
