Hi, got a Fiat Dublo turbo diesel, 05 reg 56k.

Had it services a few months back, new spark plugs, filters, oil, etc.

Getting a warning light saying glow plug failure when they've not long been changed. I also got a low oil pressure warning, so I topped this up and it is smoking like a barstard now.

Someone has suggested the barings on the turbo have gone. Could it be anything else? I want to rule out everything before spending out a fortune. Besides the smoke, the engine doesn't feel like it's running badly.

What colour smoke? black or blue or white?
Have you overfilled with oil (check the dipstick)
Possible (in fact most likely) an EGR valve fault, you need the codes read to find what its trying to tell you.

Stopped reading after first line to say this. Diesels don't have spark plugs so I hope you didn't pay for them.
There is no real way of telling the fault without seeing the car and running diagnosis as it could be a number of things. I would take it to the place that fitted your glow plugs and ask why it's now saying they are faulty.

EGR will generally create a loss of power in a diesel, and black smoke on acceleration.

If the smoke only happens when the car is warm, then its probably the turbo seals.

Pretty hard to diagnose without seeing the car. Low oil pressure light could just be the switch for the light - it would need to be very low on oil (more than just a pints worth of top-up) to run low oil pressure. If the Turbo seals have failed though, that could cause the smoke and low oil pressure light - though that would also depend where the oil pressure switch is in the oil circulation system to pick it up....
