Maybe if you contact the owner,who is Dr Ian Entwisle,he might be able to tell you the history of the said gates. I think I might just do that. Cheers

Just wondering if what possibly appears to be a crest on the top of the gates has any significance, either to Woodside station or the railways. Looks very much like the Pope's hat.
