mods at this min are very minor cause its still being used 4 work ive still got the white 1 too but ive also got another p reg mk3 astra hatch ls which will be the new company car 4 work lol but this i intend 2 make into a rally car ok its not a subaru but i tell u wat it goes round lanes by me got no pics without roof rack on yet lol mods so far are: 17" aerospeed rsgts(off the white astra till i can pick up either a set of astra sport wheels or some 15" rally style 1s idealy in white) erm system well panasonic cd player and some 350watt 6x9s standard door speakers dont matter anyway it wont have a system soon. mods 2 come are: strip everysingle thing out door cards even the heating roll cage 15" wrc style wheels rally mudflaps only on the front though full exhaust system suspension(not sure wat though yet need regulations sorted) 1.6 top end bucket seats air filter/induction kit no debagdging or bodykit everything lefgt as it should be even rear badges saying astra and vauxhall sunstrip rally graffix bit of engine tuning hopefully. scooby id be gratefull i no u sort of no the rally stuff wat do i need 2 enter in the really really low class rallying apart from the liscence of course? and regulations wat would they be cheers.

You can rally with any car as long as it has three or four point harnesses and a fire extinguisher. Lombard do a rally with 1.4 engines for anyone to join, and you have to use Matador tyres. Everything else has to be standard though.

Your refering to "Road Stage sprints" which is hardly rallying. You also need a fire-proof suit for sprints....... Your vehicle must be scruitineered for MSA (Motorsport Assosiation) rallying which consists of various safety aspects such as plumbed in fire extinguishers, roll cage etc etc..... You are best off regidtering with a local rally association to gather all the info as its very involved indeed mate. Good luck anyways

cheers u 2 i might of got hold of a set of 15" multi fit alloys already in white the road stages would do 4 now i just wanted something small 2 have a dabble at i do love driving i drive all day all night cant get enough i think i just need somewhere legal 2 release my built up colin mcrae sindrome lol cause lately im enjoying lanes too much theres some amazing gravel tracks in the woods near me where no1s about at 2 in morning right deep in the woods its good fun i took my m8s from school there and they couldnt believe bein in the car they sed its like bein in a car game i did drive well im not bein big headed or nething cause theres loads of people that drive better than me andhave the experience im only 18 so im probably shit but i think i drive well but in a safe way. can i just say that it isnt on roads where i drive like that its in middle of nowhere right deep in massive woods. which it is quite eerie in there at that time.

Love ur idea fella,the 1.4 astra aint exactly quick tho,if this car is buitl as a racing project then why not change the engine for bigger?is it the 1.4 or 1.4 hi-torq?
