Does anyone remember a play area that was behind the kfc/garage on laird street. seem to remember a metal bus with a stiff steering wheel.

Hiya, yes i used to play there too. It was more behind the Police Station tho, on Deansway. We used to play in the Playground and then play hide and seek in the little Estate, we would be there for hours, it was fab!

its still there well a couple of sorry loking swings and a rusty climbing frame are still there .

I remember discovering that place as a kid. Couldn't believe it was there and didn't seem to get played on a lot. Felt dead dodgy being there though - despite the fact that it was behind a police station!!
I think I remember the bus climbing frame.

its a shame its not nicer but theyve just upgraded ilchester park so i dont think they will do this one.
