Hi my sister is living in cyprus and needs a PUK code for a Nokia 1800, it is on the Cyprus national network or something ? and not a uk provider. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to get it. I do have the IMEI code if someone can help.

PUK code is the sim lock, if she contacts her provider, they will give it to her, as long as she can answer the security questions about the account, the puk code has nothing to do with the phone, the sim must of had a pin number on it, and someone entered it to many times wrong

They will give her the PUK as long as she knows the phone number, but warn her DO NOT try and guess the PUK, you get TEN attempts to enter it and then it kills the sim completely.

Problrm is it was a £10 phone to use the Cyprus network, bought as T-Mobile but using a cypriot sim, still uses 02 for contacting home. She's not having any luck with cyprus help I suggested just getting another sim.

That would be the easiest option for her and if she gets the free txts she can notify all her contacts of new number
