Hey,
My aeriel on my car has been broken of for quite a few months now, totally snapped at the hinge.
Is anyone good at repairing stuff like this, and the actual base of it seems to be vacuumed on to the roof of the car, i dont like yanking the bstrd of just incase i wreck it.
I am fed up of listening to CD's, need some radio!
Cheers

Hairdrier?? If you get a new one the same it should have instructions on it how to fit it. Should be more simple than the VHF ariel I did on my boat!

if its vacumed then possible cut into the rubber at the base being careful not to damage the paint? get a new or different one and reloate it, would it still work if it was hidden in the bumper or anythin like that? im sure i've heard of a volvo with the ariel in the bumper. would be a subtle mod to the car <img border="0" alt="[cwhelp]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions041.gif" />

The ariel should be bolted from underneath do you have an interior light in the middle of the sun visors?? try removing that and see whats under the roof lining.
The new ariel will bolt straight in then
