Regarding Wikiwirral. Can anyone tell me whether it causes any harm to stay logged in,or should I always log out?

Don't know but when i turn the computer off it logs me out anyway. I don't log off to go elsewhere.

Thanks for that Bert,my computer keeps me logged in at all times unless I log out,just wondering if it could slow down the computer in other areas.

Ha Ha,just had stomach pains anyway Phil,Clostridium Difficile colitis,brought on by antibiotic use,I don't need any more gut ache!

I've got to stay logged in, when i've tried to log in on another computer i've always been asked for my details, i put them in and it always comes back as either user or password is wrong. I don't know if its because i'm already logged in at home

Hi Yewgarth,do you find staying logged in affects your computer performance at all?

It's not physically possible for performance to be effected by you staying logged in here.

If you're not worried about someone being able to use your account (from your computer) then you've got no worries.

I stay logged in forever on this machine, and a probably a hundred other sites/forums/ircd's as well.
