Does anyone no what the chem Sikafloor is used in or even for
is it me or is this becoming all to regular now
ramy the red
Sikafloor is nothing very hazardous. A polymer emulsion material used to seal cement/ concrete - a bit like Dual floor cleaner polisher that used to be sold for domestic use back in the late 60s/ early 70s. ALMOST like a dilute solution of PVA white glue. The website says
Sika products are generally harmless provided that certain precautions normally taken when handling chemicals are observed. The materials must not, for instance, be allowed to come in contact with foodstuffs or food utensils and
measures should also be taken to prevent the uncured materials from coming in contact with the skin, since people with particularly sensitive skin may be affected.
