If TNOTW was the only media type that used these underhand method that would be great - in reality, I bet there's not one other news paper , news channel or documentary maker is 100% innocent.

face it, all newspapers are full of SH*** and not worth the waste of paper pulp and ink, although the globe and wallasey news are great for underneath the cat litter tray !

In the modern age we should stop printing them and recieve our news if we want it via the net.

withthat

...although, some papers have already spotted that, and now only give basic info online unless you pay their subscription - IIRC the Telegraph was one of the first to start doing this....

thats fine tho , cos those who want the news can get it as and when they want, those that dont want to read it dotn have to.

And just think of the amount of litter it would save !

Seems to me that the people who work there and were innocent, which is the majority, are being unfairly punished for things that people did 5+ years ago who are either now in prison or no longer working for the paper.

Still, they think more than 4,000 people could have been victims of phone 'hacking' - although it's not really hacking is it. It's because those 4,000 people did not change their default PIN on their voicemail.

They couldn't have hacked me.

It's not going to make one bit of difference.

Those that hate the Sun that seem to be cheering this news... do you not realise that it just means we're going to have 7 days of The Sun newspaper now with, I imagine, the 'Sunday Sun' rising from the ashes.

Every little helps. If you had lost someone on that day I think you would want to try to make a difference, like the rest of us...

Don't get me wrong, I've never bought The Sun and never will. I don't agree with any of it and would never disrespect anything to do with Hillsborough - I just don't particularly see NOTW closing as good news.
