Merseyside Police can confirm that two men have been charged with criminal damage following an incident in which Bidston war memorial was damaged on Thursday, 12 May. Stephen Clarke, 33 of St Oswald's Street, Prenton and David Andrew Gillam, 30 or Fairbrook Drive, Birkenhead will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court on Friday, 15 July. SOURCE
