What size (dimensions) is the negative?
If a reasonable size (they were often 3 x 2 inches or even bigger) then probably it is possible to use a scanner and then electronic image reversal back to a "positive" that can be printed. I have done that with some old 35mm negatives. The quality is not good with 35mm but should be acceptable for a larger glass negative

Thanks for your reply,Snodvan. It's about 4"x 2" but I don't have a scanner and I'm not very techy.
