I didn't have lights as they were big and looked stupid and cost a fair bit too. Now you can pick a set up from poundland....its not a large amount to save your childs life is it parents.
Something tells me that more than a few of these 'parents' are just happy to see the back of their 'little darlings' for a few hours.
Lights aren't important to them because if a car hits the kid on his bike then it's the drivers fault innit?
After all the car has got big headlights so the driver can see everything right ?
I too hope the lad comes through it ok.
But what if he doesn't ?
What if he didn't have any lights and the car driver had little or no chance of seeing him ?
If that was the scenario imagine how the driver must be feeling !
