Hey guys does any one remember an old wool shop on connistan ave shop near windermere road and the ford estate. Would really like to get some photos. My nan used own it. Mrs Moorcroft
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses

I remember it, but don't have any photos. Next door to the newsagents? Or next door but one?

I've lived in the area for some time and going back to the late 60's/early 70's , I think the shops at the top of Noctorum Ave ran as follows (starting at the wool shop) Wool shop (now a hairdresser) Newsagent Chip shop Grocer's (now a sunbed place) Chemist Another grocer(?) - I might be wrong here but now it's a betting shop Butcher's (Diamond's I think) now it's a video/dvd hire shop
On the corner of Coniston Ave it's been an offy for years but I don't think it was originally-maybe memory is playing tricks on me.
