I started school age 4 and my first school was our lady's infant school, price street birkenhead. I remember very smelly toilets in the playground and not many of us actually used them! from here I went to our lady's junior school across the road. Does anyone remeber Canon Quinn? I remember him being at one of the assemblies and I thought he was on fire, really he had just put his ciggy in his cassock pocket! LOL
does anyone have any old photos from either school in the 50's and 60's I would love to see them.
