hi all,

im not going to lie, i cant cook for squat, i even burn baked beans sometimes....
so this year for valentines, i want to suprise the missus by cooking her something nice (starter, main and dessert)

now i have no idea about where to start.
what types of food are nice on valentines day? whats easy to cook yet still looks impressive??

any help would be greatly appreciated

The best advice I can give is to go to M&S,if you want to stay at home.
It maybe bought but,you still need to cook it.Good Luck.X

i hear things like steaks and salmon fillets are easy??

to be honest she will eat anything as she isnt fussy, and will always try things shes never before if she sees them on a menu etc...

oh ok try this 30-Minute Beef Stroganoff Recipe 1 nonstick cooking spray1 lb round steak, cut into 1/4 in strips2/3 cup ; water;*3 oz mushrooms, sliced, canned1 package dry onion soup mix, 1 cup yogurt, plain, lowfat2 tbsp flour6 oz noodles, egg, cooked In a frying pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, brown meat. Addwater, mushrooms (including liquid), and soup mix. Cover and simmerfor 15 minutes. In a small bowl, blend yogurt and flour; add to meatmixture. Cook and stir on low heat until mixture thickens. Serve overhot noodles.
