Nah! the council were changing the bulbs on harrison drive, so i asked if i could go up in their cherry picker! you can just about see the shadow of the arm to the left of the pic.

dont remember the boating lake been that shape 60 years ago ? had it been remodeled since the late 40s early 50s

Ah, childhood memories.

There used to be a bloke in waterproofs standing in that lake recovering sunken boats, mine always sank!!
