There was also a junction here where the line from Wrexham branched off towards Seacombe. The trackbed is now the Wallasey tunnel approach road.

Maybe slighty off topic 'ere but i dont think so. Anyone, remember the 'pit'? On Church Road opp. Netto, as it is now. Could that 'trench' have been where the original track was?

We did cross country runs and went by steel factory and over the bridge by that junction.
