The problem with describing fabulous little gizmos like the Mustek DV4000, is getting across the feel of the thing. Affordable mini DV Cams have been around for a few years, and they are constantly improving the spec and usability of them, but this is the first one we've seen (and felt) that truly has that "this feels more expensive than it is" feel.

It's a really solid little number, and when we say "little" we mean it - it'll fit easily into your top pocket without making a dent. Not only has the build and feel improved, but the functionality has increased tenfold and it has a really user-friendly interface. As well as being a nifty little DV Cam, it also shoots high resolution photographs (up to a fantastic 4 Megapixels), is an MP3 Player (a real 'WOW' first for DV Cams), a Digital Voice recorder, a Web Cam and a card reader (SD & MMC). It comes bundled with a starter 32MB MMC card and is upgradeable to 256MB, so you can store photographs, music and computer files on it. It has a built-in battery charger, and takes a standardised lithium-ion battery the same as a Nokia phone, a great plus. The flip out TFT screen is clear and sharp, and it comes with a whole heap of great software, making this DV4000 the cream of the crop when it comes to affordable pocket sized multi-media devices. If you're feeling techie have a look through the specs below, as well as at what the kit includes, and we think you'll be impressed.

There are of course other DV Cams on the market, but in our opinion Mustek are way ahead of the field when it comes to price, specifications, usability and build quality. The DV4000 is a truly excellent piece of kit.

offers please, stating a price of 60 but open to any sensible offers

Cheers
