Horrible experience for you both. The bad owners always give the good ones a bad name.

I love most dogs , and really upsets me to hear of family pets being attacked by these unpredictable beasts, but i would prefer all dogs to be muzzled in public.I dont think these idiots with these offensive weapons should be able to have any excuse , like the size of a dog or the breed of a dog , as an excuse for not muzzling.Btw, when i say idiots , i mean the type whom we all see in our parks and on our proms .

I know who you mean and there are a lot of them about, but say I muzzled my dog coz she don't like small dogs; how would she protect herself from being attacked by an unmuzzled dog that didn't like her. my dog has been attacked several times by small yappy ankle biters that owners think is funny when they run up to my big dog (on a lead) and start having a go, she has fought a few of them off and the owners have said; I have a viscous Alsatian and it should be muzzled because their dog is only small and wouldn't really hurt her!! if i let her off the lead she would do more than just snap at them. but I have her under control and that's the difference. but stupid irresponsible owners will always give a dog a bad name no matter what breed/cross/size it is.

Hi Summer thanks hun, she is healing physically ok, but mentally? I won't know until she is fit enough to go out again. you did well saving the old mans dog and taking on a Pitt-Bull yer mad woman lol! but yer don't think of the consequences when put in those situations do you? glad it turned out ok for you and the old man and his dog xxx

they didn't print the full description of the dog and owner tho.
now people will probably avoid all the Mastiffs that go to the park now, and I didn't want that to happen, most Mastiffs are lovely dogs.
