Had a quote of £54 to deliver from Shropshire to Wirral of an engine! Can anyone beat that? If I had a van I'd do it myself!

Id say that was actually a pretty good price already, consider the current price of diesel, weight of the engine and the time it would take the person to do it.

Don't know anyone who owns a van at the moment I'm afraid! I'd just rather give the money to someone that could do it on here than a pallet company. I've done the engine in back of car thing before and it's been a pain in the arse everytime! It's a six cylinder, so quite big.
