Im doing the maintenance and breakdown work on the machines. I think all the houses are eventually coming down!

why are they demolishing them? are they going to build the lego houses crushed against one another . Yes. Cheap, cramped housing with the doorstep on the road, that starts to fall apart within ten years. Sound familiar?

I personally think its about time most of the slums came down, they were slums when I was a child, outside toilet coal in the yard or cellar. look at all the interviews they did back in the 70s regarding people blaming the houses for their health. There not fit for modern day purpose, no where safe to park your car, do front or back garden means kids can run straight out onto the street, Lead water pipes, Lead paintwork, rubber wiring!They were good in there day, few cars, and no need to worry about anti social aspects, today then we have very different needs. katrina

I haven't been there for a while, but it looks as if Pine Walks has slipped a bit judging by the above photo !
