It's easy to look at it that way... but either you so green your name begins with H and ends in K, or you put your bins out when you need them collecting lol. You arnt seriously suggesting you always take your domestic rubbish to the tip are you? If you are, then tbh, more fool you lol.

As for the police, you may not directly use them, I too don't and I suspect most people dont. But firstly, they are there when we do need them, and secondly, if they took them away, you would be offering to pay anything to get them back as it would be a free-for-all for all the fkin ... out there.

The police help keep the streets safe, prevent your house being robbed every single night, your car being stolen or smashed up whenever any Tom, Dick or Harry feels like it (no offence if anyones name is Tom, Dick or Harry).

You can ONLY have nice things in your life, material possessions this is, such as a nice TV, car, hifi, games console etc, simply because the police are in the country. If they wernt there, you would not have anything for long. It's not a nice a reality, but that's just the way it is im afraid.

Yer I agree to some extent with the police and fire, but seriously Matt I cant be arsed recycling as it take forever, So I bin bag everything for months on end at the bottom of the garden then go the skip when the mountain gets to high. It only costs around £10 and in my eyes thats a saver as for the amount of time it would take to sort all of that rubbish out in to their proper bins would take forever, So as I earn over £10 an hour its actually more beneficial for me to do things that way. There must be a better way to charge people for council tax, a system more acurate to suit peoples needs and demands.

Its a way of life where taxes or rates are concerned, we all have to pay for things we don't use and/or never likely to use. hopefully some services we never need but are there if needed.

God help us,
Come yourself,
Don't send Jesus,
This is no place for children.

I agree there must be a more accurate system, but that may not be more efficient? I don't recycle or agree with it either, but in my property I don't have to so I am very lucky in that respect.

If they gave you a choice to recycle or not, im sure you would then use the service. The problem is they don't. But im also sure, that the refuse collection part of the council tax is a minority amount - I dont have the big yellow booklet to hand, can anyone confirm this?

Regardless of which, I don't use methadone, and you don't, but we all have to pay for the fkin scagrats who are using it every day and who have never paid a penny in tax, at the cost to we taxpayers!!
