just a quick heads up for you all.

there appears to be a new style of scam emerging especially around car parks of shopping centres and supermarkets.

this may have been mentioned on here before but just incase it hasn't, i'll give you the details.

if you are getting back into your car after shopping and you notice something on your rear window or under the rear wiper - LEAVE IT!!

the idea behind it is to make you notice it while you are reversing out of your space after your shopping trip.
you then jump out of your "running car" to get whatever it is from your rear window while at the same time, some cheeky little scally who can't be ar*ed to get a job is jumping into your car and driving off.

if ANY important notices are placed on your car by the police or traffic wardens e.t.c. then they are placed on your driver's side door window or on your FRONT window.
even marketing companies or anyone advertising a new business places them at the front so that you have more chance of noticing them.

the rear window idea is purely to catch you off-guard when reversing out of a parking space.

just thought you'd like to know of this before you watch your wheels disappear in a cloud of smoke ............

Such an old one, we heard this in work years ago through email off the receptionist, so we kept leaving notes on her rear wiper.
