Hi everyone.

I know this isnt a wirral thing, but a friend asked me to see if i could find out any information on the small buildings that can be seen from the M56 near hapsford.

They appear to be some sort of ammo store??? or something. When viewed on google earth/maps what look like train line routes to each building can be seen. The small buildings are scattered all over the fields in the area.

Hapsford is top right and centre screen is the tracks leading to some of the buildings. As i said earlier if you scroll around the map the buildings are all over the place.

I have tried searching for info on the net but not found anything. Any info on the history would be greatly appreciated.

I think they where an ammo depot, it was only when they built the motorway they could be seen.
