Google Maps

Stage Layout
King's Parade at New Brighton is a public road open all year round with the exception of when the venue is in use for special events. These events include Sprinting, The Wirral Show and of course Rallying. The road surface is therefore typical of what you drive on day to day - real tarmacadam !The road system around the Promenade is varied, with the width of road ranging from single carriageway to dual carriageway width, natural corners include fast and open bends to hairpin and tight hairpins. Throw in seven roundabouts, which are used on the rally in many different ways and a couple of chicanes and it all adds up to a real challenge.
Stage length ranges from 3.5 miles for the shorter stages to 4.5 miles for the majority of stages.

Spectator Access & Viewing
The New Brighton venue provides excellent spectator access, parking, safe viewing and spectator facilities include catering services, running commentary and toilets.

Havent asked my fellow competitor Mr Bream yet about this... We found the entry fee a bit steep compared to events at 3 Sisters...

Seeing as the new car is almost finished (about 85%) it could prove to be a good shakedown... allowing us to finish the event this time laugh

3 Sisters is a private venue, and therefore much cheaper to run. The prom, being a public venue, involves costs for closing the road, police, fences, toilets etc....

I recon my old Civic may be out at the prom - will be in your class too wink

VTEC FTW!!! 100bhp per ton before tuning! Although the Zetec's are far behind with a few bob spent on them.

Put it on carbs craig smile

When do they do events at 3 sisters? Id love to go there. I remember watching supermoto things go round there a few years ago.

Ill have to go scrutineering and have a good look at some mint cars and teabag them when no-ones looking.

Is it £5 per car or £5 per person on the day?

I HATE cars.

Love to put Carbs on it matey... In fact, if we had the choice, we would have kept in the 1600 Category, but splashed out on new cams etc, to give us more power. However, seeing as were poor students, and do everything on as little a budget as possible, we thought it best to go the 2.0L step. We know we're not going to be challenging for class wins, or rally leadership any time soon, so weve focused on having fun and enjoying what we love. Least with such a good, small and brilliant handling car, well keep up with scoobs nd MKIIs in the corners... but now weve got a bit of power to drag us out the other side as well laugh

3 Sisters events, theres usually about 3 per year, and funnily enough, the next event is tis Sunday... 3rd May.
GET YOURSELF DOWN THERE !!!
I may pop down as a Spectator laugh
