Volunteers needed for Wirral food show

VOLUNTEERS are needed over the August Bank Holiday to help out at one of Wirral’s biggest events.

The Wirral Food and Drink Festival, which is run as a not-for-profit organisation, is looking for people who can help out for just a couple of hours.

There are numerous different things to get involved in, whether it is delivering leaflets in your area before the festival, guiding producers on the day, clearing up, handing out programmes or even pulling a few pints in the beer tent.

If you are interested in being a part of the festival, gaining free entry and a chance to enjoy the VIP cocktail area or for more information, please contact Helen Orton on 07966 922178.

And for those heading along to the Wirral Food and Drink Festival, which takes place August 30 and 31, at Claremont Farm, near Spital, the message is to take the train.

Merseyrail has arranged for a shuttle bus to go back and forth from Spital station to the festival.
