...in the garden...

Thought it would be a good idea to sand my old decking and retreat it. In the process lifting a few boards and fixing a joist that got broken during a party a few years back.

However, on lifting the boards we found the joists to be rotten, so that was it, the whole lot had to come up and get re-newed! All old posts where dug out, and I reset new ones in concrete, built the frame and finished the decking tonight...

Old decking stripped out... (Monday Morning)

Blimey! Come and do our's!

Interesting to see you're covering a grid - we have one like that in our back yard - what do you do if someone needs to use it?

raftl

Its only covered by the decking - if access is needed its only a few screws to lift some of the deck to get to it smile

TBHI never knew it was there - the old decking was in the garden when moved in...

Bloomin heck mate - that was a quick job getting the joists down, well done. Is that your missus with the green laser eyes?

Yeah, she was stood there "helping" raftl

Actually, to be fair, she did clear a lot of undergrowth from the rest of the garden.

It all just needs a good tidy up now...
