Ah. Just found something out
This car MIGHT need a new gearbox
Gears 1,2,3,4 & Reverse all work perfectly
5th gear wont engage
Willing to drop the price to match the problem
Say £300 ono

Could be anything, get the gearbox oil and selector checked. If its an easy fix problem, you could be in luck.
If its not whining, its a bit more hopeful.

its a great car to drive, shame about the 5th gear though
not too bad on fuel either
