does anyone have any problems connecting with the MTU failing?
Xbox says to make sure it is over 1356 and mine is set to 1500 and my ISP (sky) cant do anything to help me.

lol havent been on it for about a week anyway, been playin rileys pool thing (rileysgames.com) - pretty addictive and free unless u want to put real money into it (give it a miss myself lol)

yea u can plug an ethernet cable into the back of ur 360 (pretty sure u can)
only way round subscription fee is trials (usually 24hr gold) that u get when u buy new games - and i may be mistaken, but each time u use a trial thing u have to also create a new alias

Yeah, you can deffo put an ethernet cable into the back of them (well, i can on my premium one any way.
I can imagine the only way to avoid paying for xbox live is to chip it, but then again, i may be mistaken.
