The idea of starring in a homemade video and then uploading it on the internet and becoming a star overnight has not only captured the attention of the general public, but also the attention of Hollywood, television execs, and the music industry. Everyone wants a piece of the viral action, and viewings of these videos tell you why. The most watched video on YouTube has had upwards of 53 million views and around 100 million views in total.
