Things You’ll Need: * Dishwashing Soap * Spray Bottles * Blow Dryers * Small Sponges * X-Acto Knives * Men's Razor Blades * Bone Tools * Heat Guns * 4-inch Squeegees * Window Tinting Film * Blade Eater brand tool Step 1: Gather the following tools and materials: tinting film, an X-acto knife, razors, a blow dryer or heat gun, 4-inch squeegees, small sponges, a 4-inch hard card or Bondo card, a bone tool, and a spray bottle filled with a mixture of dishwashing soap and water. Step 2: Cut the film in the shape of the windows. Set the pieces aside on a glass board or an area devoted to cut film. Step 3: Spray the side window with the soap and water mixture. Step 4: Use a razor to go over the side window to remove any residue. Step 5: Use a 4-inch squeegee to get rid of any residue from top to bottom. Step 6: Apply the tint to the side window. Leave 1/4 inch to 1/16 inch from the top edge of the window without tint. This will be covered when the window and door are closed. Step 7: Employ the bone tool and push the tint below the inner rubber seals of the window. Step 8: Use the hard card to make certain that the tint goes into all the corners. Step 9: Take a heat gun or blow dryer in one hand and a squeegee in the other, and heat from the top on one side, working the tint with the squeegee on the other side in a horizontal motion. This should get out any remaining moisture from between the film and glass. Step 10: Follow steps 3 and 5 in applying the film to the rear window. Don't use the razor blade to prep the rear window because the blade can damage the rear defroster. Step 11: Count the number of defroster lines on the back window. Step 12: Cut the rear window film into the required number of panels. Step 13: Place the first panel on the bottom, the second panel on top of the first, the third panel on top of the second and so on. Identify the defroster line where two panels overlap. Step 14: Trim the film from over the defroster lines.

Clean Clean Clean Clean and you cant go wrong. Leave the Oval Shaped windows to experienced people. As your trying to stretch the vinyl 2 ways. In and out, and Top and Bottom. So.... On a Back window the Vinyl will be on the inside. But first lay it over on the out side of the window. Then Apply gentle heat so it takes on the shape of the window. Let it cool. Then Spray the inside window with a mist of water. Apply vinyl Pushing out the water. Then chase out any bubbles, and trim. Job Done. Side Windows are a peace of cake. But as i say Clean Clean Clean. No grease off your fingers or anything. Hope that helps

Step 3: Spray the side window with the soap and water mixture. NO SOAP IS NEEDED ! If your going to faff about 3 drops of baby oil. But i only use good old Tap water The Secret it so form a Mist on the window. Not huge droplets of water. We will have to do a video

Step 9: Take a heat gun or blow dryer in one hand and a squeegee in the other, and heat from the top on one side, working the tint with the squeegee on the other side in a horizontal motion. This should get out any remaining moisture from between the film and glass. Personally i wouldnt use a heat gun at that stage? You run the risk of over heating the vinyl and it shrinking. You can push all the water out with a sqweegy.

The hardest bit is cutting the dam stuff. you can put it on the out side and cut round it because it has to go on the other way round. making a template on the other saide is tricky too be cause of all of the plastic cowling. The best thing to do is leave it to the experts, at least if they mess it up, it costs them and not u !

As above with rear windows. Use a heat gun and get the vinyl to shape its self on the outside You need to have it rested with out any ripples Its not easy, and i try to turn them away. As Mr Sanchez pointed out it costs me not you lol
