Murdered OAP Died From Head Wounds

A 77-year-old woman murdered at her home in a rural village died of head injuries, police have said.
The body of Georgina Edmonds was discovered at the house where she lived alone in Brambridge, near Winchester, on Friday.
Police appeal for informationA post-mortem examination revealed she died from extensive head wounds.
Detective Superintendent Shirley Dinnell of Hampshire Police urged anyone with information to come forward.
She said: "This was a vicious attack on a vulnerable woman and we need the help of the community to find the person responsible."
The pensioner, whose grown-up son lives nearby, was last seen alive on Friday, a police spokeswoman said.
