Anyone know any online text sites THAT ACTUALLY WORK???

Cardboard Fish is absolute bollox nowadays, worked maybe 20% of the time, and all the rest of the free sms gateways either cost nowadays or simply dont work...

Its a pity TXT3 dont do free SMS anymore (051 bopper used to run it).

I want a site that actually works if anyone knows of any, not just lists of sites that are all as shit as each other.

Cheers!

Already got that as im an o2 customer. It has dropped over the years ive been a customer from unlimited free text, to 1000, to 600, to 300, to 100, to 30 and now to 10.

Which is poo lol.

Im moving to an online tariff next month (11th month of me contract) with 1000 free text a month but atm i only have 240 and im texting a lot (usually i make masses calls but hardly ever text lol).

Lol Robbie (051 bopper) co-owns that site, and the gateways never work anymore. Jamie used to have a rather nifty tool for sending texts that Robbie sent to me, but I suppose the networks wised up and locked down their gateways.

Lol, thats Cardboard Fish, and its shit, it works for the first few, and then fookin tells you that you need to wait 10 mins, you wait 10 mins n if ur lucky it lets you send a text, but 60% of the time it just tells you you have to wait for another 6 mins or summit.

They are monitoring usage via IP's now and are raking it in and basically providing a piss poor service nowadays.

It was great when it first started, shame its gone so shit frown

what you do is set it all up til u get the point where u enter your code in, and just wait out the minutes and then click send, and it still says wait as you've clicked send too soon, go back and enter the number in again and click send until it sends

thats what i used to do and it worked evry time smile

Lol yeah, twas in me first post. Its a pity like I say, it used to be amazing but nowdays its so frustrating, wait for 10 mins to send a text, n then it says wait another 8 mins or summit... just easier to pay for a text lol.

Problem is, I am sending like 50 a day atm if not more haha, so its costin me an arm and a leg on me contract with only having 240 lol.

That doesnt work every time, cos I wait for it to go to 1 minute and keep trying every few seconds, and sometime it does work, but like I say 60% of the time it comes back with the shitty capacity reached message within a few seconds of the bar being removed... thats if its even removed at all.

And in the meantime they are raking it in as ya getting through about 20 pages to send one text lol.

I also find it funny how for the first few texts, it works 100%, then after about 3 or 4 texts, you all of a sudden start getting capacity reached message again and again, which proves to me they are monitoring the service IP based.

I further confirmed this, because I got no problems again for the first 3 or 4 text the other night after I rebooted my router to renew my IP (the beauties of dynamic IP's hehe).
