Had some trouble with me Sky+ skipping sound last night and reminded me of summit else that really pisses me off with technology: When manufacturers have something that works, and then continually try to push the limits of it to provide more features etc, but then fookin end up wrecking the stability of the product! NTL, when they released CR3 for instance, managed to bring all their boxes literally grinding to halt for two years lol! Sky with their Amstrad PVR2 Sky+ boxes, they worked absolutely fine for years; then all of a sudden, about a year or so ago, they released another software update, and now maybe 40% of the time, there is continous breaks in sound on certain channels, and they have never worked out why its happening. Its actually so rediculous, that there is a 100+ page thread on Digital Spy, with hundreds of people having the same problem, and BBC Panorama now investigating how they managed to fook it up! But it happens with everything, every software company, cPanel for instance, people used to be scared shitless of updating to the latest software revision because the supposed STABLE releases, were very rarely stable, in fact EDGE releases tended to be more stable for a long time. Does my fookin head in, why cant they just leave software alone when it works, why dont they test things properly, and if it detracts from the usability of the product DONT FOOKIN RELEASE IS I dont want a million and one features that I dont give a shit about, I just want a product that works!! Lol!

More examples:
Windows Live Messenger - lovely to use the original BETA version (bar a bit of heavy memory usage), then they decided to go back to the boring old MSN look, and managed to make it completely unstable too! 90% of all MSN problems, dont afect MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger, just Windows Live Messenger. Hence I still run MSN Messenger 7.5; I have given WLM a try 3 times and every time it has either had bad bugs or had problems not connecting, so its easier to just use summit that works.
BBC iPlayer - Worked rather nicely at first, but in the last week they have released an update that they knew would fook up the licenses for a lot of people, and I was one of the people affected. Also, the latest update seems to have made it rather processor heavy when downloading!

Be careful with BBC iPlayer if you notice your connection slowing down then its this.. It hides a program called Kontiki which loads on start this shares iPlayer downloads with others P2P i dont like it as it uses alot of memory if it could use less memory then i would use it but i beta tested it and i didnt like the out come so be warned of bbc iplayer...
