yer think it was on the news 2 weeks ago that all his fromer bands got together to buy the drugs he needed to keep him alive

i never heard about that, I really must take more notice of the north west news. Do ye know which band it was? What bands did he manage, any who hit the big time? I only remember him for his role in the Hacienda hehe.

he discovered the likes of 'the happy mondays' and 'the stone roses', started his career as a reporter, then went onto tv news reporting with Granada Reports, then he was just known as Tony Wilson, then when he left to be a music mogul, he wanted to be known as Anthony Wilson....
A sad loss to the music industry.. R.I.P.
